Onboarding:

Overview of The Studio Instructor + Facilitator Role

As a member of our team, you will be a representative of us. We ask that each person take this role with ownership both inside and beyond our studio doors. Our house rules, mission statement, and code of ethics are foundational to the ways we operate as individuals and as a collective. As a member of our core team, we also ask you to hold us to accountability and support ethical standards for this community. If there’s something missing in our processes or offerings, let us know. We are forever learning, growing, and practicing repair when ruptures or harms arise. Please keep in mind that we acknowledge everyone has their own perspective of what a “community” or “collective” is defined as however, we believe and operate on the definition that the wellbeing of the whole is essential to the wellbeing of each individual and the wellbeing of each individual is essential to the wellbeing of the whole regardless if we all align on a personal level and do require care, civility, and respect for each other.

Instructor and Facilitator Rates + Booking

Group Facilitation Rates + Profit Shares:

All group classes, workshops, and community events will be on a 50/50 profit split

*The studio may be rented for $150/hr with a $100 cleaning fee (if the studio needs to be cleaned after your event). This requires you sign both contracts prior to an event and we will honor the most lucrative for the facilitator post haste.

Payouts:

Finances will be run through Quickbooks. Please provide tax forms and direct deposit info. Payments will be issued bi-weekly.

Event Submission + Booking:

  • To propose new classes or events please reserve the date and time through Calendly.

  • Gain access to the Google Calendar to verify the date and time you are requesting to reserve is available.

  • The calendar will be scheduled 2-3 months out. Please submit your proposals and schedule classes in a timely manner.

  • Please submit and marketing photos to the appropriate folder in the Google Drive.

  • Once you have completed your onboarding you will receive access to the Google Calendar and be added to the group chat.

  • Events Calendar

    • You can view all of our live events at https://www.theropecollective.com/calendar 

      • Please support the success by sharing your own events as well as our other events and tag @theropecollective on Instagram as it feel natural to you

      • We update the event calendar at the end of each month with our upcoming events and promote and share them through our social channels on Instagram, Fetlife, and Bloom 2 weeks before the event. 

Cancelation and No Show Policy

Please give us at least 24 hours notice for a cancelation due to illness, low attendance, or life happenstances. If you no call/no show you will have to meet with us again before rescheduling or booking more classes and you will forfeit your profit share.

Opening and Closing

You’re welcome to use any of the items in the Lounge or Group Class room including incense, pillows + blankets, mats, cleaning products, snacks, and beverages. As a collective we all need to do our part and sometimes even pick up additional slack so if you see something out of place or dirty- we ask you not leave it that way… run through the check in with the opening and closing check sheets each and every time when you arrive and before you leave. Keep in mind that in order for us to continue to provide accommodations and items for use- they need to be cared for.

Monthly Collective Team Meetings

  • Monthly emails will be sent out with studio updates. If you need a private meeting please utilize the calendly. 

  • Quarterly meetings are mandatory and will be offered in person and virtual. If you cannot make the meeting please notify Toni or Andrea and set up a time through calendly to be debriefed, prior to the meeting.
