The Divine Comedy II: DEATH - 3 Part Epic Art Show

In DEATH we are collaborating with and featuring SHAY TIZIANO of Twisted Windows! Shay Tiziano (she/her or they/them) is a renowned bondage performer, presenter, producer, and self-suspender known for their innovative, intense performances and friendly, attainable, and risk-awareness-focused approach to kink education. She is the author of Tying & Flying, the first-ever book about self-suspension, Creating Captivating Classes, the first-ever book specifically for kink educators, and editor of the anthology Soaring & Exploring.

Based in San Francisco, Shay is the stages & entertainment co-lead for the Folsom Street Fair and produces the acclaimed bondage and fetish performance event Twisted Windows. She has curated performance showcases for events including the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, Tethered Together, Ropecraft, the SF Mint, Dark Odyssey, and San Francisco Pride.

The show will also feature a conceptional performance art piece by Toni Brianna Guida Wendel - "The Memorial of submissivetiger" with our high priestess Madame V hosting an open mic to pay respects or air grievances : you may do so through spoken word, song, dance, shibari, all forms of expression welcome. There will be a viewing as she lays to rest in rope, dirt, and with a 10 foot retic python named Ducky. Here is part of her artist statement: "It was true I had intrusive thoughts of my death: jumping in front of the subway, veering my wheel into traffic, or my favorite: seeing my own funeral. However what I have learned is I would never kill myself - I find living to be delicious, pleasurable, and an absolutely blessing.. I glamorized my death because I felt I would be accepted and seen by others, and myself in my full and complete being."

Mixed media art pieces will be showcased and curated by Akiko Surai as well as shibari, aerial, fire, dance, movement, and music performances with incredible local and traveling artists . Food truck and full bar offered of course at our beautiful venue The Soap Factory in Logan.

Disclaimer: These art shows will feature conceptional and interactive performances with mature themes, heavy content, and even live arachnids, reptiles, and other animals (including humans) so please prepare yourself for an immersive experience with a range of emotion and sensation *no un-consensual touch or audience participation*. Feel free to excuse yourself if you are overwhelmed / overstimulated to one of our quiet / aftercare areas.
