Fly Series: Off the Ground

Part of our Core Curriculum and the final class in our Fly Series!

We will bring all of the knowledge of the previous classes together and come off the ground for the first time! Before we jump into the techniques, there will be extensive risk mitigation and safety awareness conversation. As we begin to understand the risks of full suspension, even in its basic form, we want you to understand some of the pitfalls as well as some of the tools to avoid these mistakes. Also covered is an inclusive and structural perspective of hardpoints, and how to set up safe and stable hardpoints for suspension. Last, but not least, we’ll cover uplines and lock-offs, taking the waist and chest harnesses in the air, with instructor supervision and valuable input on technique. Begin your suspension journey, and gain valuable insight into how to come off the ground as safely as you can!
